Alone time but relapsing into sickness

I was really looking forward to not having anything at all to do this weekend, for the first time in like two months. Just me at home, hopefully working on CB4 or something.

But I woke up snotty and with a slightly sore throat, as if I was starting to relapse a bit. I've been tired and unmotivated all day, and you know how I hate being that way. Watched some movies and such, but I just don't feel up to engaging my brain at all. Cosmo is sleeping beside me making me even more tired.

So here it is, closing on 8pm, and I haven't really done anything. I was so motivated last night, and managed to work until 1, but then the crappies set in overnight and it's feeling like last weekend. I've gotta get this out of my system because once May rolls around, it's like I'm busy with one thing or another every weekend.

I was sick twice last year, which is twice as much as normal. In March I had serious flu, and then in November I had that ridiculous cold and fever nonsense while in Columbus. This instance wasn't that bad, but it's nagging me.

Ok, everyone I recommend this to thinks I'm crazy even though they smile and nod along, but have you ever tried Airborne? It's an over-the-counter effervescent tablet that serves as a giant vitamin pack.

I discovered it after I got sick on a cruise I was on about two years ago. Cruises are, let's face it, floating germ vessels and I caught a head cold that forced me to fly home in quite a bit of pain - flying with a head cold is fairly miserable.

I've been using it ever since and I've had maybe one cold since then that lasted a few short days. You take this stuff when you think you will be exposed to germs, particularly when you travel, sit in a crowded theatre, shake hands with a germy, etc. Or you take it at the very on-set of a cold.

I believe it helps. But you can't take it too much or your body gets immune to the benefits of the antioxidants, electrolytes, and herbs.

Dude I am HUGE fan of airborne. I love the stuff. I swear by it, and stuff it down my roommates when they are starting to sniffle.

Finally!! Someone else who appreciates a glass of frothy goodness to keep the germs away!
