The last week or two has been pretty weird, as I've realized that there are some parenting milestones I'm gonna cross. I ain't ready. I've gotta show Simon how to shave (and I'm not that good at it myself), and I have to explain condoms to him. I should probably explain medical marijuana to him, and how weed isn't good for developing brains. I still don't have a good explanation for him about why people want a (alleged) criminal bully for president, and he asks every time we watch news or late night.
It won't be that long until I have to teach him to drive, and given my teen experience, there's no universe where I let him not learn as soon as possible.
