Palin: Yikes... not a good interview

Palin did an interview with Charlie Gibson on ABC, and it did not go well. He pounded the foreign policy issues and she danced around them constantly. He couldn't get a yes or no answer on any hard questions, and she essentially wouldn't answer them.

And worse... she says "nuke-u-ler" too. I can't believe anyone, after seeing that interview, would be comfortable with her being one heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world. She's going to get owned in any VP debate they do.

I had a similar reaction to the interview. She seemed very nervous througout and had a very defensive tone in her answers. Many of her responses seemed canned-- as she repeated the same lines multiple times to some questions.

I had read beforehand that these interviews with Gibson had a lot of potential to be puff pieces. I'm glad they weren't and that he did ask some tougher questions.

Is it just me, or did there seem to be some bad edits to the interview at times? What were they taking out?

I didn't notice. I mean, unless her repeating herself with answers that didn't match the questions were edits!

This woman scares me more than McCain...

I just read on Yahoo that she it totally open to the option of war with Russia if they keep messing with Georgia.

I understand NATO and its policies and we (the USA) would be expected to help on a global scale if NATO decides to do more than sanction a country for whatever reasons... but come on!

Going at it with Russia would spell disaster on a larger scale than any terrorist camel jockey could dream of.

She certainly doesn't understand foreign policy. I guess living next to Canada makes her an authority on it, right?

...and they say Obama isn't ready to lead...

Initially I was on the fence with this election. But all the hypocrisy in the McCain camp is disgusting. For all the family values he preaches, tell that to his first wife who he dumped for the wealthy hottie 20 years younger.

Not to mention this joke of a pick for VP. This was nothing more than an effort to get the woman vote. Period. He's met her ONCE, and it's obvious he didn't properly vet her record. And now he's using her as a smokescreen to sidestep discussion of real issues.

And these attack ads on Obama? Are you kidding me? The sex ed ad is not misleading... it's a flat out lie. And Lipstick on a pig... holy take-it-out-of-context, Batman! What is this, junior high?

And what's this McCain going to do with critical information when it really matters? Twist it to meet his own agenda and lie to the American people, leading us into destruction? Hmmmm... that sounds familiar.

Also funny how Palin's "Troopergate" has been kept hush-hush. Keep side stepping that Bridge to Nowhere controversy as well... it seems to be working.

I'll be voting for McCain. Palin is a weak pick, but McCain is a hero and a strong leader. Sorry, people, we need a military president right now. We are involved in two wars and a global war on terror.

Honestly, if I had it my way, I'd vote Bob Barr, but I am not going to waste a vote in such a close election.

The war in Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism. Put down the Kool-Aid.

What if its cheap beer flavored Kool-aid. Could I still drink that? ;)
