Exactly. If you think about it, a Punk Rock Barbie actually satisfies both ends of the spectrum in terms of what a typical male might be attracted to (even though he wouldn't likely admit to both).

I can think a few more musical guilty pleasures that are much worse than Avril. Maybe that's because I justify that her ballads give her credibility.
